So the official announcement is out. Yes Ashley told us, she knows Eric personally but we were sworn to secrecy until the official announcement. Eric is coming from Jersey Boys.
Bulm, Padgett, Schultz, Fortuna and Crum are all from the Grease Broadway cast.

Wow, in clicking on that link there are some pictures of the tour Danny & Sandy. This is the first time I've ever seen Emily Padgett smiling and looking happy! I've seen her in person a few times, and seen her going in/out the Stage Door when she's been both in GREASE & LEGALLY BLONDE. I witnessed her coming out the door with Max when Laura had another committment---she was the Sandy understudy. While he was all smiley, talky and jokey, willing to do autographs and do pictures with fans, she was as cold as ice, and you could tell she did not want to be there, and couldn't wait to get away. She leaves ME cold and I won't be paying money to see her. And mind you, I was the person who wondered who she was in a prior post, way back in the day: I saw her in GREASE as a dancer in the hand jive, and she's a phenomal dancer, very watchable. She just strikes me as very stuck-up and sort of a diva. Good luck to the tour though, I'm sure Allie will be a cute Rizzo :)
You just never know what happened to people just before they walk out of the stage door. Emily may not have been feeling well or was upset about another matter, you just never know. She is probably a very nice person.
If you guys haven't seen Will or Dominic on Broadway...I'm sure those of you going to the tour will LOVE them! They're both great in the show and nice guys to boot!
Yes, I certainly don't expect actors to be "on" all the time, but I have seen her several times going into Grease and Legally Blonde, and she does not smile or even look up at people. I have even heard her speaking on the phone to someone and she wasn't very polite, to say the least! The time at Grease when she went on as Sandy was the only time that I witnessed her coming out to sign autographs, and like I said, she was not in a good mood. I would not have mentioned anything about her if I had only seen her once or twice. Onstage, she can sing and dance just fine, and I'm sure she'll do a great job in whatever show she's in. I was only relaying my observations of her behavior off-stage, before and after her shows.
On another note, Allie Schulz was very sweet and pretty while she posed for pictures and graciously signed autographs after we saw her perform as Patty Simcox, and I'm sure she'll be a great Rizzo.

I agree about Will. He's a joy to watch. But Dominic is simply "servicable" in the role. Some of his acting choices don't fit with the character and I don't buy someone like Marty having a crush on him.

I'm sure that happens sometimes, I have observed some fans the same way. They appear in print to be real nice but then later, not so much. Check this out, an email from her web site.

I, personally, LOVED Dominic in the role!
Personally, I think that Dominic fits the role perfectly. I love him up there and I will miss him when he leaves.

The only thing I am worrying about is that I can get tickets to see the show. Regardless of who is in it, I will see it. I have seen the movie (100+ times), watched YTOTIW and several forms of the play (a high school production, a local production, on broadway twice). The only thing keeping me from going is getting the tickets!

I know how you feel greasefan. The last time I was in New York, walking by the theatre, the "Grease" music was playing. I just stood there for a minute and watched people walk by. Everyone started dancing when they walked by, and heard it! It is really amazing that the music still has that affect on people after all these years.
