Should everyone be able to post here or only those who think that Ashley Spencer is the best Sandy to have ever graced the Broadway stage? Keep in mind that at some point Ashley will leave Grease for another part or be replaced and you may still want to be a part of this board. I think that all opinions are welcome on this board and no one, especially Ashley, should feel threatend if someone didn't love her performance. I read Dana's sister's review and I didn't think it was so bad. I've seen Ashley's biggest fans on here write a lot worse about Laura.

I believe everyone should be able to post here, if they are fans of Grease. Not everyone will like every member of the cast.and I know I didn't like negativity against Taylor when he was in the cast on broadway. cry.gifbut some of what was posted then was hateful, not just negative..
I didn't think the review posted here was that bad, but I don't know all the history either..
I have grown fond of so many here, and would hate to lose anyone ..smile.gifsmile.gifaww.gif

Yes Choderman, it is her opinion and mine as well. If you could be honest with yourself you would admit that you have written far worse about Laura.

I don't know that there is any history. What I do know is that this board has become intolerable of anyone who doesn't think that Ashley is the only person fit to play the part of Sandy. I'm guessing that many have a problem with Dana's using the name "Laurafan." I think if the e-mail exchange between Dana and Ashley proved anything, it proves that Dana likes Ashley. I think she has always been a fan of Laura's. What a lot of Ashely's friends and family don't realize is that is possible to like both girls, even if you prefer one over the other. Just because Dana's sister didn't love Ashley's performance doesn't mean that Dana doesn't like Ashley. It's nice to get differing opinions-especially when Ashely's friends and family have been dominating this message board with their opinions. I even know of people coming on here with new usernames so they can post positive reviews for Ashley. It's great that Ashley has friends and family that support her, but it is really annoying when they beat up on anyone who isn't thrilled with her performance. I have seen several of the people who post on this message board post on the broadway board and tell people that they are wrong when they were less then thrilled with Ashley's performance. I have seen it written on here that I hate Ashley-yet I haven't posted anything negative about her.

And none of us have posted that we don't like Laura.  It needs to work both ways.  And I have no patience with those people who only post negative things.  If you never have anything nice to say, why be on here?

I love to come on here and read about what is going on in the current show and what former cast members are doing. I'm plenty positive-I just don't always agree with you and you seem to have a problem with that. My advice is to get your patience under control and learn to live with the fact that not everyone will always see things the way you do.
