I've never been to a Broadway Show on Halloween? Do people dress in costume to come to the theatre?

I know people did at Xanadu last year but with a show like that it's okay.  I'm going to see Tale of Two Cities on Friday and have no intention of going in costume.

I've heard that some people are going to Grease in costume on Friday.
Personally, I don't think it's appropriate for anyone over 5.

Phantom of the Opera would be another one! How fun would that be to see on Halloween!

I wish I was going.  I never saw "Phantom!"  But then again, I'd probably go back to "Grease" if I was in NYC!  smile

I have seen Phantom twice. The first time, I wasn't so impressed, but a friend from Chicago came to NYC and wanted to see it. I must admit the second time I loved it.

I'm not dressing up.

My mom and step dad come to visit every year (they live in Virginia, they'll be here tomorrow. Henry is beside himself).

We always order pizza and wings, then Henry, my husband and step dad go trick or treating. My mom and I drink wine and hand out candy. I think my mom and I get the better end of the deal.

Nothing more fun than being dressed up in a costume when you pass out candy. The kids are always surprised when you open the door.

I have only seen the movie. Would love to see the Broadway Show, but everytime I go to New York...no one wants to see it with me.

I was entranced by the movie...I can't believe how it would feel in the theatre!

Seems I need to clear up my remark about costumes.

I'm not against adults dressing up. I just don't think costumes are appropriate for a Broadway show.

My favorite little goblin, Amelia Joy and I went to a fun fall festival complete with pumpkin decorating and a hay ride. The weather was perfect and we had a perfect day.

Nothing more fun than Halloween. Our trick or treat was Sunday, so I have been eating all the leftover kit-kats all week.

I like the original Halloween movie, with Michael Myers as the villain. Never liked the Friday the 13th movies. I love Alfred Hitch****, and any older movie about ghosts, or haunted houses.
Happy Halloween, hello.

Henry was a clone trooper from star wars. I have no idea why he wanted to be that because he's never seen the movie, but oh well.

We tried to find Obama and McCain masks, but they were sold out. So we went to a party as devil and angel. Very boring, I know, but we already had the costumes.

Did you see the movie "August Rush"? This name was picked from a van that was passing by that had something like "Beat the August Rush," written on the side of it.

By the end of the movie, you wished that this was the boy's real name! The movie was great by the way. Did anyone else see it? The soundtrack is wonderful!
