This board has died down quite a bit since it started so I am going to try to get the cobwebs off the doors and start a contest that will involve a prize that actually got usu all together in the first place.

I have been for some time wanting to make a DVD set of the show Grease You're The One That I Want based on the super quality vids I have of the entire run of the series. The idea is to have the fans create a DVD sleeve cover and disc art for stickers to be put on these discs. Being that I am not nor do I intend to sell these and just want it to be a fan made set by a fan for all the fans, I see nothing wrong with making the winning prize a completed set to the winner of the art creation contest. That being said:

DEADLINE:

The last day for entries is December 10th, 2008 11:59PM to allow for a set to be made for the winner in time for an xmas delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

• All elements of the art must be from the TV show itself such as promo art for the show etc. Nothing from the movie or any other productions are to be used as this is to reflect the show itself.
• This may be a fan based set, but it is to look as professional as possible as this will more than likely be the most complete set that will ever be made of this series since the studios will never actually release this.
• Have fun. THis is not only a competition, but an interaction between us greasers to come together and enjoy what we all love.

PRIZES:

• The Winner will get a set of the complete DVD set I am making complete with stickers of the artwork and DVD sleve artwork.
• A runner up prize will be awarded to a second place winner who after a round of general questions will be sent a random prize from my personal collection of grease rarities.

The regulars on this board have seen me over time post messages but I haven't become close with anyone so there will be no biased decisions ivolved in winners, and the voting for the winners will be reality style and done by your fellow peers who all have a chance to vote for your favorite images to be posted here for all to see. Being that this community is so tightly knit and no new members joiin and post, to ease off on cheating for votes, only veteran members are allowed to participate in voting.

What a great prize! I have all of the episodes on DVD and enjoy watching them.

The weekend is coming to an end and I haven't yet seen anyone interested in this contest. I was hoping that this would be a success because after this one, I was going to hold a New Years contest for a DVD set of Grease is the Word from Londons version of the show when they were seeking their Danny and Sandy. I"ll hang in there a nd wait for entries but remember, the deadline for entry is Dec 10th.
