Grease Ad :)
Permalink Closed

I was driving yesterday and all of a sudden the wonderful title song came on the radio! And I mean the theme to the Broadway show. It was an ad for the tour which is coming to Minnesota at the end of this month. I turned it up because as an added bonus, I got to hear the wonderful Laura and Max once again (for once, not via CD ha ha ha) as they played a medley from the show. Happy times and it made me wish I could've seen the two of them just ONE more time----3 times was not nearly enough biggrin.gif

I hear the radio ad and also see the TV one frequently. It's still fun to see or hear!

I will be doing something with the TV on and I hear, "This is Ace Young" and then the Grease commercial is playing. Picks up my dull day, I'll tell you that. It's going to be very sad on January 4th. I took off the 5th so I can recover. :*( I've been so spoiled as an Ace fan. I can't imagine what you Grease people are going through!

Since the tour isn't coming anywhere near me, I guess I won't get to hear it.

Hi Linny----
I just want you to know that Ace is an AWESOME guy; I had the opportunity to meet him in October and he was one of the most down to earth celebrities, he was great; he chatted, took photos and did autographs, everything. It seemed like if he had the time, he would've stood there all day chatting and all :) Have you ever met him? I didn't have the chance to see the show, but my sister and a friend did, and in their words he was "the absolute highlight"----I guess his "Greased Lightning" is second to none. I would like to have seen him as he truly was a great guy!!!! Have a good one, Dana

Oh, yes, Dana! I've known Ace going on three years now. I'm one of his original Idol fans. He has proven to be one of the most important people in my life, giving his kindness and sharing himself to me, my friends, and my family. My husband and son have met him and only can say great things - my younger son wants to meet him and I will be taking him to the show over Christmas break. I consider myself one fortunate woman to have met this wonderful young man and to be his friend.

So glad you got to experience him for yourself! And as for Greased Lightning - there are NO words!!

Happy Holidays!
