Rock of Ages to go to the Brooks Atkinson?

Seems like they are going to move this show from off Broadway to Broadway and occupy the Brooks Atkinson. I hear that the show is fun, although there are way to many people at the show drinking and acting the fool. Maybe this will cure that issue.

Yeah, if they move it to a Broadway house the serving of alcohol during the show would have to stop. There's no way to do it without disturbing others at this venue.

Brooks Atkinson is quite an "intimate" theatre! Can't imagine sitting next to someone with alcohol breath! lol

It's a fun piece; music is a lot better than the script. Cast looks like they're having fun; that's always a plus in my book.

They gotta stop serving alcohol.

I agree!  I've even been to some concerts, like Keith Urban, where so many people in the audience have obviously had so much to drink.  I always wonder if they'll even remember the show the next day.  And sometimes I get distracted and watch them.  One lady went to the bathroom and had the toughest time finding her husband when she came back.

Rock of Ages will end its off Broadway run on January 4. Still rumored to be coming to Broadway but not until spring.
