2009 will be the bomb for Taylor and the sp.

I hope to have the Christmas stuff put away tomorrow. The tree has been down since 3 days after Christmas. I am cleaning though.

I finally finished cleaning my house today, and everything Christmas is put away. We have tons of decorations, Dept. 56 New England Village, santas, snowmen, etc., so it takes 2 full days to get it all packed away.

we haven't put our dept 56 stuff out since the kids left. Maybe we will next year, Rylen would love it.

I'll let you do it. I had some help from hubby yesterday taking down the tree (a live one), and then he took it to the fire department where all trees are collected. I get no help with housework though.

I forgot that my hubby helped put the New England Village into the boxes, and Tyler also helped. He loved playing with the little people, which made me very nervous that he was going to break them.

theyaren't cheap, when we were visiting my in laws, Rylen kept wanting to touch their dept56 that was set up. very nerve racking

We had a store going out of business a couple of years ago, and I bought a lot of the houses and people for 75% off. Several people in our family now have their sets started for them, and I give them another one each year.

we got a few pieces at 50% off either after Christmas or at a going out of business sale. we need to get it put up next year.
