Costume drawings up!!

Has anyone else noticed that drawings of the costumes are now up in the Photo Gallery? As an artist myself, I'm beyond excited to see these. I can't believe how fabulous they look, beyond what I imagine them to be (I guess I always thought they would look somewhat like the "Grease" movie...

The making of a musical
(Preview)
A lot of us are asking questions about what is happening at this stage of the production or what will happen next or at rehearsals, etc. There is a very interesting (in my opinion) on-line article on how a musical is made and staged and it includes some great information on such topics as previews, rehea...

One of the things that makes this forum a great deal of fun is the inclusion of parents, friends and relatives of Max and Laura and some of the other participants. Favorite Grease Song
(Preview)
Being curious about these things, what is your favorite song from "Grease" - either the play or the movie? I've added a poll, but feel free to comment. For me, I think it's "Summer Nights." I love the mood this sets for the story and the humor of the song.

Hi all of you wonderful people. I wanted to introduce you to a new concept and ask if you are interested. Parenting a star-wanna-be, by Laura's Mom
(Preview)
This looks like a fun place to expound on a few of my parenting lessons from over the years of raising a star-wanna-be. Today's lesson is on learning to be both a graceful winner and a graceful loser. With about 15 years of auditioning experience with Laura this was a repeated lesson time, after time, a...

Mixed in with all my enthusiasm for Laura and Max is an interest in identifying and observing the things that make them better than others against which they have been competing. I have a large number of performsnce clips (such as U-Tube and NBC-Grease items) and I have spent a lot of time going over the...

Grease Is the Word UK

Have any of you seen the British version of the show that is running now? The judges have paired the Dannys and Sandys up and they compete as a team. The viewers vote for the team and it appears the teams don't change. So potentially (and it has happened) a talented contestant may be teamed with one not...
